For the second successive year Acoustic Sensing Technology Limited has been recognised in the ‘Made in the North West’ Manufacturing Awards.
Across a wide range of criteria and against a large competitor portfolio, Acoustic Sensing Technology Limited was recognised for the outstanding contribution its SewerBatt ™ technology makes to providing solutions for the surveying of underground drains and sewers to help avoid flooding and other damaging events.
Dave Cockerill Business Development Director for, Merseyside based, Acoustic Sensing Technology, owners of the unique and exciting SewerBatt ™ suite of products, was delighted to receive the news that they had been shortlisted for the award for the best use of Technology. “It is another great achievement for us. We are consistently recognised for providing game changing technology and we believe our North West roots and the support given by the North West Fund have both contributed to this success, given the manufacturing pedigree and rapidly increasing brand of the region as a place to do business”.
“SewerBatt™ quickly and accurately assesses the serviceability of drains, sewers and other pipe networks. The survey data is then made available on our state of the art data analysis platform to immediately direct maintenance resources where they are actually needed; saving considerable time and money and enabling highly disruptive flood events to be reduced.
It is a real honour to be recognised in the Made in the North West Awards, and the fact that it is for the second year running is testament to the progress we are making”.
