Acoustic Sensing Technology (UK) Ltd are proud to be the only UK Company chosen to take part in Imagine H2O, the global water innovation accelerator. The company will be honoured at the USA’s annual Water Gala to be held in San Francisco in March 2017, as part of 8th Imagine H2O accelerator programme.

As 1 of only 12 companies chosen, from 180 companies across 20 countries, the Company’s SewerBatt™ technology suite and its strategy for international export development to meet the global demand for ensuring resilient water infrastructure, were the key ingredients for selection.

“This is an impressive group of companies doing important work in their chosen area,” said Paul Gagliardo, Innovation Director at American Water and member of the judging panel. “Scaling their business through Imagine H2O’s program will be a unique opportunity to bring their innovations to market.”

Acoustic Sensing’s innovative data analytics platform, enables those charged with the upkeep and maintenance of the nation’s drain & sewer networks to undertake rapid surveys using sonar. Information captured is then processed and analysed on SewerBatt™ Vision – a purpose-built, state of the art cloud platform – developed specifically by Acoustic Sensing Technology UK Ltd and supported by Microsoft, using their Azure cloud computing technology.

By using SewerBatt™ Vision, asset owners in the water, rail, and highways sectors are able to have a much clearer visualisation of individual asset performance – enabling far more rapid and targeted investment decision making for those assets that require it and helping to significantly reduce highly polluting and disruptive flood events.
